Discouragement

I would say that the short piece on discouragement above pretty much sums up sales in general. You keep getting up to bat, you keep hitting the singles  and suddenly you wake up an the bases are loaded. Then you pull a “Mookie Betts” with a grand slam and you win the game. Keep hitting singles. That’s sales.

Century 21 Agents in Boston Were Busy This Weekend!

Katy Landolfi  was marketing 14 Audrey in Quincy with a new price. Edward Keefe was out getting 178 S. Main Street in Attleboro on the market.

Marilyn House did an open house @ her new listing which is at 785 Washington Street in Norwood

I was doing an open house at 234 Fairview in Brockton and have a couple of offers in hand.  I also did  a home inspection on a property in Braintree at 354 Tilden Commons

Kathy Hasenjaeger put a property in Brookline under agreement at 33 Pond Avenue which is the Brook House in Brookline

It’s Monday – Try this one…

Go on your phone and text 5 people you have been out of touch with. Don’t bring up the real estate conversation. They know what you do for a living. Ask them about their family, work, what they have been doing for fun and if any upcoming vacations aka “FORD“.  The law of reciprocity will kick in and they will ask you about your life. Let things naturally progress.   You can do it with Facebook messenger too.

This is a form of prospecting…Try 5 per day – easy “peasy”.  At the end of the week you would have engaged with 25 more people than you probably did last week.

If you want to succeed this week…fill out the One Week Business Plan scan it or photograph it and send it to “allagents” . Proclaiming you are going to do something will give the catalyst to improve your sales performance.  If you are the shy type, send it to me and Deb and we will check in with you this week to see if you are doing what you said you would do.

Real estate is about conversations. A career in real estate is built one conversation at a time, just like an Egyptian pyramid was built one brick at a time.  If you are not having a conversation today, you will have no income in 90 days. That’s how it works.  The “Christmas” holiday season is coming. We are half way to it.  What are you going to do now to make it different from last Christmas?

Just in case you forget what I preached about last Monday, I am sharing again.

Why is There a Weight Watchers in Every 3rd or 4th Community Nationwide?


Simply put…what you measure can change. Watching your food intake can change your waistline.
Watching Your Prospecting Can Change Your “Wallet Line”

Century 21 has tools for “maintenance, fitness, and mindset” do you plug in and use them?  If you have not received a commission check then I will wager that the answer is probably a “no”.

Simply put…what you measure can change. Watching your lead generation, appointment setting and real estate conversations food intake can change the thickness of your wallet.

The very best thing you can do this week is make a plan on Monday for how many contacts and appointments you are going to make.  It’s so important for the success of your business that Century 21 who provides tools for “maintenance, fitness, and mindset” developed an application called ReScoreboard which is accessed via ZAP.

If you are computer phobic, don’t know your password, or have some other lame excuse below is a screenshot of what you should focus on this week.   You can print it on your Dotmatrix printer and pull out the quill pen to assign some goals for the week.
