Failure is a blessing when it pushes us out of a cushioned seat of self-satisfaction and forces us to do something useful.

If you carefully study your own life and those of achievers whom you admire, it is an absolute certainty you will discover that your greatest opportunities often occurred during times of adversity. It is only when faced with the possibility of failure that we are willing to deal with radical change and take the risks that lead to great success. When you experience temporary failure and you know that it is temporary, you can capitalize on the opportunities adversity always brings.

The sales profession is an equal opportunity employer, unfortunately it’s an equally powerful unemployer too. You need to make a decision right now if you are going cash a check in 60 or 90 days based on the work you decide to do this week.  If you don’t prospect, follow up with people or network I guarantee you will have no real estate sales income in 60 to 90 days.

 

Our Century 21 Agents in Boston Were Busy This Weekend!

Katy Landolfi was showing 14 Audrey in Quincy with a new price.  She was also hosting an open house at 85 Albert Street in Brockton. Katy just  closed on 274 Pleasant in Norwood on Friday

Edward Keefe hosted an open house at 12 Manchester Drive in Wrentham.

Marilyn House was working her new listing at 785 Washington Street in Norwood.

Marilyn was also out showing condos in Easton Crossing imagine she actually left Swan Pond

Kathy Hasenjaeger has been entertaining and working on offers at 632 Main Street in Walpole at The Ledgehill Condominium

Suzana Vajentic is finalizing her purchase and sales agreement for  5 Joy Street in Norwood, MA

Meredith Mahoney hosted an open house @ 234 Fairview Avenue in Brockton

Mary Jane Lightbody and Alvin Mullin hosted an open house at 27 Rainbow Pond in Walpole. I also know she is a an couple of CMAs in the works as well as newly accepted offer on a condo with a buyer.

Open Houses Hosted by Century 21 Over the Weekend

There were several open houses over the weekend hosted by our Century 21 office.

Here were the #’s I heard from agents who reported in:

Katy Lanfolfi had 36 sets 85 Albert in Brockton
Mary Jane had 12 sets at Royal Crest.

Birthdays at Bird Park in Walpole

Here is a TIP – Always Pretend You Are New

You are never too old, too knowledgeable, too successful, or too powerful in sales to focus on the basics. Real estate sales is about mastery of the mundane. It’s mastering a simple formula I like to call it P.P.C aka Prospect, Present, and Close. It’s really a simple business, but we make it so complicated.  I would always just focus on the basics. It’s a game of basics.

Prospect….talk to people.  By the looks of some of the reports in DASH, I would say some of you have no friends or only talk to your cat.  The reason I say that is because even a broken clock is right twice a day.  Some of you have not sold a house in awhile. I don’t mean to meddle in your affairs, but how do you afford to eat? Do you eat your cat’s food? If you talk to enough people in your life eventually you get a listing or buyer…it’s the broken clock is right twice a day principle.  When are you going to “fail forward”?
