There are a couple of closings this week. Mary Jane Lightbody just closed on 418 Washington Street in Walpole with Kerry Webber Scalzo  of Remax Real Estate Center in Walpole.  Katy Landolfi closed on 274 Pleasant Street in Norwood.

Mary Jane Lightbody has a new listing coming on the market in the next couple of days at Royal Crest on Rainbow Pond in Walpole.

I know Marilyn House has been busy with 785 Washington Street in Norwood.

Uptick in Recruits Wanting to Become a Realtor at our Century 21 Office

Recently I have come into a lot of contact with people exploring becoming Century 21 real estate agents with our firm. A lot of the people I am speaking with have been reconsidering what they want to do in life post pandemic. I think a lot of people have realized that life may be too short to not do what you want to do career wise.  I am always www.LookingforGoodPeople.com

This week alone I have spoken to a financial analysts from Citizens Bank, an airline pilot, and a recent MBA graduate.

Online Marketing and Retailing is More Important than Ever

I have always followed a lot of teachings and preaching about what is called “inbound marketing”. This has been the generational shift where the sales technique where you used to go out and hunt and kill is predominantly gone. The new generation of buyers out there do a ton of research prior to reaching out. Have you noticed that when someone reaches out to you to go and look at houses or to even hire you the decisions are almost made by the time they get to you. This is because of inbound marketing.  If I were an agent, I would work on your online persona a little and make sure you put out who you are in an authentic voice. I would also make as much information available online as possible to cut down on the sales process which normally would happen in person.

One simple way to start this process is to make everything available to the public and other agents that would be normally trigger a questions.

I would post everything that will be necessary or inquired about in advance on the MLSPIN under the paperclips. It expedites the sales process.
